Steadily over the last few decades, a growing percentage of the world's population is comprised of the over 60s. This important segment is now targeted by marketers, corporations, clubs and others as a booming market.

But this group of amazing people across the world is far more than about economics. The "old guard" represents a system of values gone-by, strong personalities, community spirit, a certain freedom and lifestyle, all hard to find in the new generations.
