Beach Report - Dead Calm
The 75km-long Belgian coast features countless beach huts, waffle shops and beer cafes. While pretty quiet in winter, summertime sees its resorts overflow with families, cars and sandcastles.
The more poetic, graphic and natural aspects of the Belgian coast can be less obvious to find beyond the commercial layer. Colourful beach huts, construction cranes and empty spaces are also part of the Belgian seaside culture.
